Net Affect of Imperialism in Africa

Overall I would have to say that Imperialism did not help Africa very much but it did help with some aspects of the African countries.
Positives:
Made railroads
Sea Ports
Telegraph lines
New ways to get power
Steam Engine
New Government
New Skills
Schools built Racism
Cleanness improved
New areas discovered

Negatives:
Lots of people killed
Slavery
Culture was destroyed
Old Economies destroyed
Resources stolen
Empires destroyed
Way of life was diminished
